Copenhagen / September 8, 2026 Frontier Space , a UK based space biotechnology company enabling in-orbit R&D and biomanufacturing technologies, and Xponential Space a strategy and commercialization company focused on space-enabled markets, today announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the development and commercialization of microgravity-enabled life sciences and biomanufacturing applications.
The partnership combines Frontier Space ’ capabilities in in-orbit experimentation and biomanufacturing with Xponential Space’s expertise in market development, pharmaceutical industry engagement and commercialization strategy.
Together, the companies will work to identify high-value pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications for microgravity, translate industry requirements into viable orbital programs, and develop commercial pathways connecting life sciences customers with emerging in-space research and manufacturing capabilities. The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between advancing in-orbit technologies and clearly defined pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry needs.

Frontier Space is developing technologies designed to enable autonomous biological experimentation and manufacturing in orbit, including its SpaceLab platform. Frontier Space has already demonstrated its ability to rapidly develop and deliver space biotechnology payloads, delivering two payloads within a nine-month period. Under the partnership, Frontier Space and Xponential Space will collaborate across pharmaceutical business development, use-case identification and prioritization, market validation, strategic partnerships, and the commercialization of microgravity-enabled R&D and manufacturing services.
