We’re excited to share that we’ve been awarded an Individual Judge Prize at Deep Tech Momentum 100 — a recognition that speaks to our growing impact in biomanufacturing and the emerging Low Earth Orbit (LEO) economy.

The prize, awarded by Matthias Spott of LEOconomy® Holding GmbH, acknowledges our work in developing platform technologies to industrialise space biotechnology. It’s a powerful affirmation of our vision: to make scalable, sustainable science in space a reality.

A Major Step Forward

In April 2025, we launched our first fully automated lab into orbit aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9. This mission was a pivotal milestone, showcasing several key technologies:

  1. Microfluidics

  2. Onboard imaging

  3. Autonomous system control

These capabilities are fundamental to building the research infrastructure needed to support long-term science and manufacturing in orbit — and we’re proud to be leading that charge. We are deeply grateful to the Deep Tech Momentum 100 judging panel for recognising the potential and relevance of our work.

This award energizes us. As we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in space biotechnology, we’re reminded that this is only the beginning. There’s much more to come — and we’re excited for the journey ahead.
